President's Message

The mornings are starting to get cool, a welcome relief for many, I am sure. I, for one, am looking forward cooler mornings where I can sit on the patio and watch the hummingbirds for now (about 30).

As some of you know, the Google Sites platform, where our webpage was built, changed to New Google Sites. As such on September 1 our old webpage went dark. It is lucky that I stumbled onto the fact that the change was coming. They did not let us know, that I am aware of.

During the experience, I learned the importance of documentation. Had I had more information regarding the website construction, I might have had an easier time. But that being said, I have compiled a file that should help the next webmaster.

I created a new web page using all of our existing information and due to a technical issue, the new page did not go live until September 8. The URL www.kaufmanquiltguild.org did not change.

I hope you have had an opportunity to visit the site, I welcome any suggestions.

See you in October.
