Our Mission
The purpose of the Kaufman Quilt Guild is to bring together people who share a common love of quilting and enable them to participate in community service projects which benefit those in need, while preserving a rich heritage and exploring new expressions of the art of quilting through education. The Kaufman Quilt Guild seeks to be a respected organization, known for its activities and programs and designed to enrich the lives of others in the community.

The Executive Board will meet at 5:30 p.m.
We have meet and greet at 6:00 p.m. Meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

Dear Quilty Friends,
Another month has come and gone. I decided to be bravetoday and had two teeth removed. I'm not feeling great this evening but I have been dealing with writers block for days and now I have to write something. So, if this isn't as inspirational I'm sorry. Last week I made it to the Plano Quilt Show. Linda Neal's quilt was amazing, if you missed it I think it's on the Plano Guild page.
At the September meeting we will pass around a sign up sheet for refreshments. Please, only sign your name to the list. If we don't get enough volunteers we will just not worry about snacks. I realize times are hard for all of us right now. But with that being said I do want to say that the August spread was wonderful. I appreciate everyone bringing snacks, and to the person that made the bite size brownies with coconut my blood sugar went nuts but they were awesome!
Is it time for retreat yet? I need to be treated like a man for the weekend!!! If you haven't been on retreat with us please consider coming. I absolutely love the fellowship of our group. I don't think you can feel it one night a month like you can when we spend several days together doing what we love. Just contact Jill and pack your PJ's and sewing machine and come hang out.
Speaking of retreats, our QOV sew day on Saturday was like a mini retreat. Thanks to those who came!
