Kaufman Quilt Guild

Dear Quilty Friends,

The March winds will hopefully bring beautiful April weather. I continue to hope a Pot of Gold will blow into my yard instead of my neighbor's trash can. But so far it's just trash and a trashcan. But I guess a girl can wish! I'm looking forward to the Dallas Quilt Show and the East Texas Quilt Show this month. 

As we push forward in 2025, please think of what you would like to see the guild do or not do in the future. The tickets have arrived for the raffle quilt and are ready for pick up. Remember each member, per the bylaws, is required to sell one pack of 30 tickets. I think the quilt is bright and happy. With that being said please try to sell more than the 30 required tickets. This is our only fundraiser for the year, and  the future of our organization hangs on a successful raffle. The cost of a speaker only continues to go up, and I really want to have new interesting people come to speak.

Thanks to Jill for sharing all of her sewing goodies in  March. I have had several cups of coffee in the mug that I took. I love a good pottery mug. I hope everyone who took something is also enjoying their new goody. Also, is it time for another retreat? I'm ready to run away and be inspired by my quilty peeps. Remember to wear your guild shirt at events and promote our organization. We are a great group of ladies, so let's invite more ladies to join us.
