Our Mission
The purpose of the Kaufman Quilt Guild is to bring together people who share a common love of quilting and enable them to participate in community service projects which benefit those in need, while preserving a rich heritage and exploring new expressions of the art of quilting through education. The Kaufman Quilt Guild seeks to be a respected organization, known for its activities and programs and designed to enrich the lives of others in the community.

We have meet and greet at 6:00 p.m. Meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

Dear Quilty Friends,
TI hope everyone had a great Mother's Day! Here we are getting ready for 100° days again. I personally am not looking forward to the heat. My little house turns into an inferno. I'm more of a 70's kind of girl. I hope everyone enjoyed Amy and Rod this month. I know it was great to see him up and moving around, and I love wool handwork so it's always nice to see some of Amy's completed projects to push me to do more. Tonight, Penny worked on cutting the fabric for the 2026 raffle quilt. If you would like to help, let us know. We would love to have the help! We can set up a sew day in Terrell and tackle it together.
I'm sew excited to leave in the morning for Red Boot. Again, if you haven't gone on a retreat with the guild, you are really missing out on lots of fun. Jill does a great job of coordinating everything for us. All we have to do is show up and sew. It is really nice to be able to enjoy the company and food and not worry about the dishes.
Don’t forget the raffle quilt is the only money maker we have at the moment. If you need more tickets, please let us know. I would really like to bring more speakers in but anyone that comes costs the guild. Also, Second Vice President is still open if you would like to plan our speakers. It won't hurt my feelings if someone else wants to do it!
